A kid-friendly, gluten free rice krispie treat recipe made with Honey Nut Cheerios! Only 3 ingredients and 5 minutes are needed to make this easy after school recipe.
Have all of you wonderful GF eaters heard the great news?!? Cheerios have hopped onto the g-free wagon!! While not all of the flavors are deemed gluten free, quite a few of them are: Original, Honey Nut, Apple Cinnamon, Frosted, and Multi Grain.
Hopefully the peanut butter and chocolate won’t be too far behind… 🙂
We had the Brazil familia over two weekends ago when Cohl’s Uncle Don was in town. Honestly, I did not think these “kid-friendly” desserts would go as quickly as they did. There was just something about the honey flavor of the Cheerios that made these treats irresistible. Honey Nut Cheerio Treats’ survival time: under 24 hours with this bunch. If you need a quick treat to prepare for a kids’ party or school function, these are an easy GF go-to. Throw a few rainbow sprinkles on top and you have yourself a colorful treat. Hope you enjoy!
